Senior Commercial Technology Lawyer

Our client is a global household name and is looking to recruit a Senior Legal Counsel with strong commercial and technology experience to join their team. Responsibilities will include: 

• Providing legal advice across all areas of the business with a particular focus on Technology law, including data privacy, cyber security, Artificial Intelligence and IP rights connected to innovative technologies. 
• Advising on general commercial legal matters 
• Working closely with senior management on matters of strategic importance 
• Advising on legal risk, risk mitigation and compliance with applicable laws and regulations
• Developing, drafting and interpreting applicable policies, procedures and standard operating practices 

To be successful in your application you MUST be a lawyer who has qualified in common law jurisdiction and has worked in either practice or in house for at least the past 8 years.  Candidates who do not meet these criteria will not be considered for this position.  Candidates do not need to be already working in the GCC.
